About Jess

Hi! My name is Jess and I'm a mum to 2 children and very fluffy dog. 

I have been practicing yoga on and off for the last 20 years. When my youngest child was born, I found yoga gave me space to clear my mind, de-stress, and rediscover who I was following the journey into motherhood. I started going to regular weekly classes, sometimes even fitting in 2 or 3 a week, trying as many different types as I could. 

In 2023 I made the decision to deepen my yoga practice and completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training (YTT) with Kindred Studio in Nelson. 

I approach my own yoga practise with curiosity, exploration and playfulness, always willing to learn more about myself. I bring these same aspects into my teaching and hope that I can inspire more people to use yoga as a tool to find space and balance.
